IN early March, Annabel Stoneham, age 15 and a year-11 student at Cowbridge School, won a gold medal at the European Indoors Archery Championships in Waterford, Ireland.
The championships were attended by over 450 archers from across Europe, and the team from Wales took 10 medals. Annabel, a member of Llantwit Major Archery Club, has been a keen archer since the age of eight, holding multiple Welsh Field Archery Records.
